Eyes down!! Full House!! Another packed Hub yesterdsy for our Easter Bingo evening. Huge thanks to Anne, John and Iain Warne for making it all happen and thanks to everyone who donated so many raffle prizes. Special shout out to Charlie for being such a great guest Caller.

Another new session for our trainees as we had our first session at Panthers Martial Arts Academy. Teacher Kire got to know our guys, led them through a warm--up and then introduced them to kick boxing.

This weekend, we got our best results ever in the Somerset FA Disability Counts League!! We won all 4 matches.

After a winter break we have returned to one of our favourite places. Our trainees love helping AJ at Prodigal Bikes at Crewkerne.

Some of our guys started a new 4 week project at Yeovil Arts Space today. It was a great success and brilliantly led by tutor Ali and her team.

We are incredibly thankful for the many supporters of The Hub, and this month, we want to give an extra big thank you to Aaron March who is raising funds for The Hub by participating in the Manchester Marathon on the 27th April!

Huge thanks to the residents, Anna, and all the staff at Knoll Nursing Home Yeovil for raising an amazing £300 for the Hub's trainees!!

Mark celebrated his 60th Birthday with us today. Mark's joy and happiness is clear to see. He is so popular with everyone. HAPPY BIRTHDAY Mark!

We are always proud of the Hub All Stars but particularly proud this week!! We were without key players and had concerns ahead of kick-off. Our Hub trainees however did us very proud and showed us how far they have come as a squad!

Today another group of our trainees started a hair and beauty course with the lovely tutors at Education Support Services at Langport.

Another of our trainees enjoying the invaluable work experience in the Transmissions department at Leonardo. This opportunity makes such a difference to our trainees confidence and self-esteem. We are grateful to be working with an international company that supports its local community so well.

Last week the brilliant Kevin and Richard of Somerset Film at The Engine Room helped 6 of our trainees produce a film about the Hub in just one day. Our trainees directed, worked the cameras, used the sound recording systems and clapperboard, chose what they wanted to film and who they wanted to interview.

Today a group of our trainees got the opportunity to make a film in a day!! With the help of the brilliant Kevin and Richard from Somerset Film our guys got the opportunity to direct, use cameras, carry out interviews, use sound equipment and a clapperboard etc.

Only 4.8% of adults with learning disabilities are in employment. However many, many more want and are able to work when given the chance and right support.

At the Hub, we know what our trainees can achieve, and we are proud to say we have 4 of them on our payroll.

The Hub All Stars were back in action today with 4 fixtures in the Somerset FA Disability Counts League.
