We have been working in partnership with Leonardo for the last three years. One of the most popular activities is work experience in the Transmissions Dept for 8 weeks on a Friday morning, working with the fantastic Rich.

Last year very kind Andy Jones cycled all the way to Rennesse in Holland to raise funds for the Hub. Andy cycled 248km and raised over £1,600!

Last year we were generously donated a quad bike. Our trainees have really enjoyed learning new skills refurbishing it. As you can see it is very near to completion!! Our trainees have done a fantastic job!

It may have been damp and misty today, but that didn't dampen our trainees' spirits!

Tom and Stephen from biggerhouse film were back at the Hub today to help a group of our trainees produce a short film. As you can see our trainees are loving getting involved in the production.

On the 27th April, Aaron March will be running the Manchester Marathon to raise funds for the Hub We are a charity close to his heart, and who better to explain why he's chosen to take on this challenge than Aaron himself:

It was a pleasure to welcome Rob Beckley, the High Sheriff of Somerset to our Café & Scrapstore yesterday. We look forward to seeing him again soon and showing him all the Hub has to offer!

We had a lovely afternoon at the Hub as we had a Christmas Sing-along in the cafe.

Going to the Christmas panto is always a great event and this year's show at Westlands Leisure Centre did not let us down!

This week we launched a brand new project working with Biggerhouse Films

We had a fantastic surprise today when Lee Rennison of Clay Pigeon Raceway presented a fabulous cheque of £720 to the Hub.

Today was the final day of the hairdressing course attended by four of our trainees.

The Hub Signature tree is up. It is looking very pretty and festive but it hasn't happened as by magic…

These ladies have been visiting the Hub for over 5 years now, supporting our Café and Scrapstore, but more importantly, our trainees.

Yesterday our trainees had an excellent training session at Huish Park with the brilliant Ty from Yeovil Town Community Sports Trust.

We were very pleased to welcome Somerset Freemasons to the Hub today. Somerset Freemasons made a very generous donation of £4,000 which will go to the direct benefit of our trainees.

We closed our café this afternoon so more of our trainees could enjoy an afternoon of Indian culture.

Another Super Sunday as the Hub All Stars took the field at Strode College. Today wearing the yellow and black kit supplied by Yeovil Town Football Club.

Another new session for our trainees!! Physical and mental wellbeing is so important. As a result we are trialling boxing this month.
