Welcome to your Hub Trainee Council

Following on from the success of the Parent/Carer forum, the Hub launched a Trainee Council at the end of 2022 so that Trainees could have a say in the running of the Hub.

Trainees were asked to fill in an application form asking why they wanted to join and what would they want to introduce if they were successful. All applicants were interviewed in January and the first monthly meeting was held today.

Today's session discussed the expectations of being a Hub Trainee Councillor, how the Councillors will gather feedback from the rest of the trainees (a suggestion box will be launched soon), their ideas on what to use the Digital Suite for when it is finished and whether they liked the idea of a maintenance session where trainees could learn how to maintain the Hub vehicles and other maintenance jobs around the site.
