HoHoHo Merry Hubmas!

All work and no play …, that’s not how the Hub likes to roll! The Hub will celebrate its first Christmas in their new home at 13 Buckland Road, Yeovil with a fun-filled Christmas Bonanza. Come along and help us celebrate another great year!

An exciting run-in to the Christmas holidays culminates with a Christmas Craft Bonanza on Friday 7th December between 3pm to 7pm.  There’s a host of 16 gift and craft stalls set-out around our new ground floor, open-plan venue. There will be a £5 entry, that’s free for children under 16, an open bar, Christmas raffle, children’s face-painting and workshop, plus late-night shopping in our Scrapstore.  The event will be served up with delicious mince pies made by our amazing trainees and some mulled wine to wash them all down. There will be a short performance by the Hub’s drama group, midway through the evening. There's free parking. All profits go back into making the Hub an even better place to train and socialise for people with autistic spectrum conditions, learning disabilities, and other difficulties.

With Christmas in mind, we will also be running a series of festive craft workshops at Palmers Garden Centre in Yeovil, which will be an ideal activity for children and families.  The workshops will be held on December 1st, 8th, 15th and 22nd at 11-1pm and 2pm-4pm and will be a great opportunity to meet our staff and trainees, whilst having fun being creative with our festive scrap and recycled Christmas packs produced at The Hub.
